Intel Core i5 4th-Generation Haswell Lake Processor

This notebook houses a 4th-generation Haswell Intel Core i5-4310U processor that comes with two cores, which have a stock speed of 2.3 GHz and can also achieve speeds up to 3.2 GHz, thanks to Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology. 14″ LED-Backlit Anti-Glare SVA TN Display

The 14″ widescreen Twisted Nematic (TN) display of the HP EliteBook 840 G1 features LED backlighting, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 300:1 contrast ratio, a 60 Hz refresh rate, 250 cd/m² brightness, 131 ppi, and viewing angles of 40/40/15/30°. You can also output video to an external display via the DisplayPort at resolutions up to 3200 x 2000 @ 60 Hz, or use the VGA port for resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz.

4 x USB 3.0 Type-A Ports

Four USB 3.0 Type-A ports operate at speeds up to 5 Gb/s and allow you to connect peripherals such as external storage, optical drives, printers, memory card readers, and more. Additionally, one of the USB ports doubles as a charging port.

Gigabit Ethernet

The Gigabit Ethernet port can be used to connect to wired networks for Internet access.

After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. Windows Continuum

Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface.
